to wish all bowlers and their families a Happy New Year and wish all our bowlers success in the coming months.
S.A.Y.B.C. Ranking Events 2012
The first
event for next season’s rankings will be the Trios due to be held at Bowlplex, Dunfermline on 29th January. This is a Scratch and Handicap tournament in teams
on a points basis, points being allocated according to age groups. The forms have been issued and must be returned
on the stated date (today), together with the entry fee.
S.A.Y.B.C. Ranking Events 2012
The second
event for next season’s rankings will be the Nationals due to be held at Deer Park, Livingston on 3rd/4th March. This tournament will take the place of the Coaching,
etc as shown for 4th March on the League schedules.
Scottish Squads 2012
Congratulations
to Naomi and Damien who have qualified for the Under 19 Squads and to Vicki who has qualified for the Under 16 Squad. Congratulations
also to Euan and Megan who took the top places in the Under 12 Rankings, and to Dale who was third in the boys section.
Congratulations
also to Brian, Martin, Gary and Katherine, who have also qualified for both the Young Adult and Adult Squads.

was the Nationals at Hollywood Bowl, Bargeddie when twenty of our bowlers competed.
Conditions were difficult and
but half played above average, and we finished up with ten awards.
